From the valley over the meadows and up the mountain

If you fancy going walking or climbing in the mountains on your holiday, visit the Montafon region. Here some simple valley trails and leisurely Alpine walks await.

Walk up to one of the mountain meadows or take the cable car and enjoy regional treats in one of the catered Alpine lodges – most of the dishes are based on home-grown produce.

You can also complete challenging hikes and climbing tours up to an altitude of 3,312m on the Piz Buin. Montafon has 270 km of signposted footpaths to choose from.

Themed walks
Walking with a mountain guide

If you fancy a guided themed walk, you can take part in one at a discounted rate using the Montafon Guest Pass issued by your accommodation establishment.

Hiking and mountain guides are also available in the various resorts in Montafon. They can support you on your walks or climbing tours.
