Feldkirch

Feldkirch is one of the most charming towns in Vorarlberg. A trip here in winter or spring is the perfect way to discover the wintry and reblooming facets of the town. The markets and activities take place all year round and are always inviting. There are various restaurants which serve up good food and drink dotted throughout the little town. Exhibitions, Liechtenstein Palace, Schattenburg castle etc. are well worth a visit for culture fans.

Mehrerau Abbey

A stroll through the beautiful grounds of the abbey is always the trip. Here you can gain a little insight into the abbey and its grounds before heading to the restaurant in the cellar for a refreshment break.

Hohenems Palace

Hohenems Palace is known to be the most significant Renaissance building in western Austria. You will come across this fascinating old palace after a 20 minute walk up the mountain. The palace restaurant houses some beautiful rooms and serves up refreshing drinks.

Pfänder mountain in Bregenz

The Pfänder mountain towers over the state capital and festival town of Bregenz at a height of 1,064m.
In clear weather, the mountain offers magnificent views across the entire Alpine panorama, the Bregenz Forest, the Rhine valley, Oberschwaben, Lake Constance and the foothills of the Black Forest.

Bregenzerwälder Cheese House in Andelsbuch

The Bregenzerwälder Cheese House is the central market place for the entire regional variety of the Bregenz forest region. The aim is for guests and locals alike to be able to sample and purchase specialities from the Cheese House, 365 days a year. 
At its heart is a wide range of local cheese specialities just waiting to be sampled. Here you will find up to 60 varieties of hard cheese, sliced cheese, cream cheese and soft cheese made from cow, goat and sheep’s milk.

Glopper Castle

Glopper Castle in Hohenems is a real treasure in one of the most beautiful spots with sensational views across Vorarlberg’s Rhine Valley. It was built in 1343 and today has been renovated and is under the ownership of the Waldburg-Zeil family.
